Before Your Microneedling Treatment
Your journey begins with a personalized consultation, where we will assess your skin concerns, discuss your goals, and create a customized plan for your treatment. To prepare for your session, we recommend avoiding retinoids, exfoliants, and direct sun exposure for a few days to ensure your skin is in the best condition for microneedling.
During Your Microneedling Session
Once you’re comfortably settled in our relaxing treatment room, we’ll cleanse your skin and apply a numbing cream to enhance your comfort. Using a specialized microneedling device, your provider will create controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Most patients experience a mild tingling sensation, but the treatment is generally well-tolerated and typically lasts about 30 to 60 minutes.
Microneedling Aftercare & Recovery
Following your session, your skin may appear slightly red and feel sensitive—similar to a mild sunburn. This is completely normal and usually subsides within 24 to 48 hours. We’ll provide post-treatment skincare recommendations to optimize healing, and we advise avoiding makeup, direct sun exposure, and harsh skincare ingredients for a few days.
When to Expect Results After Microneedling
While you may notice an immediate glow, the real magic happens over the following weeks as your skin naturally produces more collagen. For the best results, multiple sessions may be recommended based on your unique needs.
